Manage Passwords

At first, you can create and add a classification for password:
Click the “Add Node” on the toolbar,
And then, enter a name and click “OK”

After creating, password will be added under the classification.

1. Click the Add Data entry on the toolbar, the system pop-up a property window, as follows

2. You can enter Title in General tab and the other options can be blank.

3. Switch to Password tab
Input the URL, User Name and password, and the URL, User Name are optional. By default, Password can displayed by ciphertext, if needed, select the Show Password on the below to show the password.

4. Input relevant information, after this operation, click the “OK” button below, the system can create and autosave password.

5. Modify Password
After double-click or select the icon of password, click “Properties” on the right-click Menu, then, pop-up the Properties Window, and in which can be editing operation.

Generate Password
There are two ways generate password, manual input password and automatically generate password which provided by system, through which it can randomly generate password characters with specified length. You can operate in the Properties Window, switch to password tab and click Generate button. By default, the password length is 9, you can modify it in the Options.

Modify Password Option
Click “Tools” – “Options” on the menu bar,
Switch to “Password” tab in the open window,
You can set up a list of options, including:
1. Length of generated password
2. Password Character Set
The default system can generate random password by using uppercase and lowercase letters, Digits, Operators, Underline, and changing option to confirm whether or not the password including some of characters.

Set database password
For the sake of security, we strongly recommend setting a password for the database file which is used for admin passwords.
The password being created, it is need password authentification when you open the database each time. While the database files will be encrypted so as to ensuring data security.


Click “File” – “Set Password” on the menu bar, enter the password and confirm in the open window, as follows:

For verification, After setting the database password, please remember it.
When you open the database next, the system will pop up an authentication dialog box, where you can enter the password and click “OK”.

Cancel the database password
If necessary, you can use the above operation to cancel the database password,
when you set a new password, the password input field can be blank.
You can leave the password input field blank when setting a new password.
